FIRE BAN: means that a restriction has been placed on the setting of fires and may be categorized as follows:
Level 1: No Restriction: safe campfires are allowed and fires are
allowed in Acceptable Fire Containers.
Level 2: Fire Advisory: safe campfires are allowed and fires are
allowed in Acceptable Fire Containers, but the issuance of
fire permits for other burning may be restricted. Existing
fire permits will be honored, but no new permits will be
issued.
Level 3: Fire Restriction: safe campfires are allowed only in
approved fire pits and in Acceptable Fire Containers. No
open fires are allowed and fire permits may be suspended
or cancelled and no new permits will be issued.
Level 4: Fire Ban: no open campfires will be permitted. All fire
permits will be suspended and no new permits will be
issued.
