The County is known for trails and lakes, Alberta’s Iron Horse Trail and bylaws that allow for back road access for off-highways vehicles. Some provincial historic sites include the Fort George-Buckingham House in the Elk Point area, and the Frog Lake Memorial Site in Frog Lake.
